Watch: Diana Jones – Goldmine [Live]

During her recent visit to the Netherlands, Diana Jones performed ‘Goldmine’ in Bimhuis Amsterdam for VPRO Vrije Geluiden. The song is taken from Diana’s latest album Museum of Appalachia Recordings and is about Diana’s dear friend Lucy Grealy who is sadly no longer with us.

Diana says of the song “I started this song to feel closer to her and tell her how beautiful she was but never seemed to believe. Just before going into the studio I finished it, ten years from when I started it. Now I get to have Lucy with me at every show.”
